A Festive Marathon

A Festive Marathon

Guadalupe-Reyes is a term frequently used in Mexican culture to refer to a period of festivities and celebrations that typically starts on December 12th, the day of Our Lady of Guadalupe and extends until January 6th, the 'Three Kings' Day (Día de Reyes). During this time, people often attend numerous social events, like Posadas, Christmas dinners and New Year's celebrations. Some even humorously refer to it as the 'Guadalupe-Reyes Marathon,' alluding to the custom of drinking tequila and other holiday drinks daily for nearly an entire month."
